With my second book "The Guardian Seeker" in works, the trilogies popularity has made a huge impact in Writing Community and Amazon.
As the creator of Leywa and this fantasy world, however, Leywa never set afoot in Oregon. I've made an inspiration from the glove other than Oregon.
Now Let's start with 11 places in Tarynsborne that have inspired me from my travels.
Ferran Forest.
Ferran Forest is loosley based off of Cape Lookout in Tillamook, Oregon and "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time"'s Kokiri Forest.
And that explains Guardian Fairies!
The homes in Ferran Forest are based off of Cape Lookout yurts (Second above) and imagine them looking like tree houses instead of on ground.
and the falls is based off of Tumalo Falls, sorry no beach in Ferran Forest.
2. Roith
Roith is the capitol of Tarynsborne, the city is based off of The Streets of Tanasbourne from Hillsboro, Oregon.
an outdoor mall that inspire me to turn this glamorous, snazy place into the capitol.
3. The First Triunity Temple of Tarynsborne.
The Triunity Temple or Trio Temple for short is the main religion in Tarynsborne. it is loosley based off of Tualitan Temple of Latter-Day Saints in Tualitan, Oregon,
Just upstairs and top hill above from the capitol. My husband Jamie Fowler is mormon and I was fascinated of the beauty of this marble temple! (I actually never been there but I saw the picture of it, I'm sure his church would allow me.)
the gold triunity relic on the top of the temple is the angel and the marble statues of the trio gods-Jesus Christ, get it?
4. Tarynsborne Castle.
This massive castle of Tarynsborne, Home of Prince Tyron and Kye is based off of Miranda Castle in Chelori, Belgium.
Exclude the gloominess and imagine with bright colors of silver and light blue marble with banners of Tarynsborne!
Leywa thought this castle was incredible.
5. Douen
Douen is a village outside of Roith.
it is based of Mountain Dale Cabin Village in Buxton, Oregon.
Imagine with the windmills, farms, shops, spas, furnace house, green house, and a graveyard. That is were Leywa and Tere stayed in The Guardian Seeker for training.
6. Alton Forest.
Alton Forest is the largest forest with tall trees, it's based off of Seqouia National Park in California
7. Dom Torro and Mt. Torres
Dom Torro, home of the korons is located in beyond Mt. Torres, it is inspired by sacajawea peak and rocky villages/tribes of korons.

8. Lunareil.
Lunareil is the spring realm of spring elves in Tarynsborne, I imagined Lunareil as "The Japanese Garden in Portland", the bridge over the lake, cherry blossom trees, houses, and kimomo style garb.

9. Runner's River
Runner's River is Grande Ronde River AKA Snake River

.Tamora Falls- Multnomah Falls

. Zora Domain + Blue Grotto of Capri, Italy= Leaude, a kingdom of porphies just behind the water curtains of Tamora Falls.

. Darisyn Ocean-Astoria Beach

10. Lake Terra.
Lake Hylia+ Crater Lake in South Central Oregon= Lake Terra, named after the lost goddess of light.

11. Riverdale
Riverdale is the home of the nymphs called Lady Freya of Magic and her twin brother Freyeren, warden of Riverdale. This mystical place is not really a public place it is something magical thhat they knew the prophecy that Leywa didn't know about, if you're a fan of fairytale gardens, there are fountains, and glass houses as their homes, dinners, council meetings, gardens, and of course for guests, looks like a cool place as an hotel!

And that is the 11 places of Tarynsborne based off of real life places. what inspired Farwen's homeland Ilyth? this will be the next blog in other time. If you enjoy this blog, go to contacts for news letters, Thank you for reading!

I love this insight into how you came up with these places, really interesting.
