The Adventures of Leywa: book 2 The Guardian Seeker

The Guardian Seeker was surprisingly dark, fun, and spicey!

The Adventures of Leywa The Guardian Seeker is a sequel of The Box of Shadows, Leywa embarks to awaken The Guardians and find her purpose to take down Moga.

1. What inspire you to write a sequel?

- The writing for the sequel is pure complex, it inspire me the post child Link from The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, but there's no time lapse in the book, it changes their personas and atmosphere of the world. Leywa and Tere meets Elwen a mysterious elven survivor came to train her and help her find the guardians and in hopes to find Prince Tyron.

2. Who is Princess Farwen? I love Farwen's character, how does she inspire you to write her character, what was her POV?

- Farwen is a princess of Ilyth with her father King Elarion being poisoned and manipulated by his advisor who slaughter forest villagers and caged children because of their fear the forest villagers could Mortuilater summoners, Princess Farwen was taught courage and kindness, she doesn't believe Forest Villagers are bad, her character inspire me of Eowyn from The Lord of The Rings franchise, she also had a deceased older brother who fought in battles, she does have a similar purpose like Leywa, they both believe there are seven disciples (The Guardians and The Old Seven Gods of Light), they all do believe there is a goddess giving them messages and prophecies to save the world.

her point of view gives her a chance to meet so many people, one day, with Leywa and Farwen's lost cousin Tyron.

3. How long does The Guardian Seeker take to finish the book?

- Oh boy, don't get me started (laughter), it took me two years since I finished The Box of Shadow for a past month later before I get started on book 2, not just because of due to Covid-19 lockdown a year earlier it was pretty bad, but I stayed home and work on The Guardian Seeker with some encouraging music on and read lots of books when I was in quarantine, it was worth it to write a really long book 2, and that's what makes me proud.

4. What are The Mortuilaters? are there any clues who The Mortuilaters really are?

- The Mortuilaters are the dead of the army from years longer than Angrabohda and King Erion war, The people thought The Mortuilaters are evil spirits and no one should not mention about them, who The Mortuilaters are is a spoiler, you have to wait until book 3.

5. What are colors theme for your books?

- The Box of Shadows-green

The Guardian Seeker-red

Book 3-purple

6. What is one of the characters sexualities? This is the representation of the LGBTQ community?

- I never thought Leywa could have romantic relationships with anyone, Aryn is just her friend, we wasn't interested in relationships, when Leywa met Tyron, she didn't had any romantic feeling towards him, when she met Elwen/Tyron she became connected and trusted him and feeling amorous with him, I didn't realize she choose to love him, I discovered she is Asexual.

These do not surprise me, because they are not afraid to show their true colors, and I love them who they are.

7. I pretty much notice the similarities of Leywa and Moga, do you think there is coincidence between them?

- Let me sort these out (laughter) Why Moga was Leywa all along.

. red shades her (Moga's mohagony and Leywa's is fiery gold red hair.)

.Green clothing (Moga's dark green bell sleeve gown and Leywa's green shawl and later her green tunic.)

.Hidden magical power (Moga's evil powers and Leywa's are good by the trio and the goddess Terra. (although she is Terra)

. partners/friends (Moga's vizier Myzigor, and Leywa's fairy guardian Tere.)

. Advisors ( Pencelle and Elwen/Tyron)

.Both needed artifacts ( Moga needs Leywa to open The Box of Shadows and needed the cursed artifacts as whole and powerful, Leywa needs to reunite the Triunity Charms to protect the box and destroy the cursed artifacts.)

.Necklaces ( Moga's soul harvester pendant, Leywa's pendant given by Aryn.)

.They both wanted to make Tarynsborne a difference.

.Brother figure friends ( Agom and Aryn)

.love interests (King Theyn and Elwen/Tyron)

8. We do know Moga's tragic backstory A.K.A Princess Celebiene, what inspired you to write her backstory?

- Her backstory was both peace and sad, she had a perfect childhood as the princess of Tyreragon, her grandmother Empress Tamar was the most powerful rulers in history, there was hatred between Terrans and Vintirians, they were profiled and blamed for not slaying the last of Teres's enemies to affect the terrans of how they see vintirians, little Celebiene was unaware of racism, her aunt Angrabohda murdered her parents and her grandmother and she raised Moga and her brother to be followers of Achillian (Tarynsborne's Satan.) Her backstory is very complex that I needed coffee (laughter) but she deserve that she had a good side when she married King Theyn, she was the good queen of Tarynsborne and she was the real mother of Prince Tyron, and instead she's treating him as her thrall to take her place, wait until book 3.
